Here is your New England-wide GRAPHIXplus weather map. As you can see, northern & central New England will receive heavy morning rain, while southern New England escapes the fury with only periods of light rain. The northern Mid-Atlantic region will only see widely scattered showers. On the brighter side of things, the afternoon looks to be mostly cloudy with no precipitation. Hopefully the sun will peak out towards dinner time. As outlined below, we may peak 70 degrees for the high temperature.

Latest Radar Loop - Incoming Rain
As you can see from this RadarPlus Platinum loop, the main batch of rain is well out to our West. The rain over Connecticut now is not reaching the ground, as the current dew point is only 34 degrees. We would need that to rise well into the 50's for precipitation to reach the ground-level surface. Updates ad the night progresses.
