As you can see, northern & central New England will receive heavy morning rain, while southern New England escapes the fury with only periods of light rain. The northern Mid-Atlantic region will only see widely scattered showers. On the brighter side of things, the afternoon looks to be mostly cloudy with no precipitation. Hopefully the sun will peak out towards dinner time. As outlined below, we may peak 70 degrees for the high temperature.
